Security features like airbags are meant to stop us safe in case of an accident. Only one driver allegedly met having a nasty surprise when an airbag in the vehicle apparently sliced his ear in two.

Based on the Detroit Free Press, the incident happened on April 7 when an UN named who owns a 2012 Hyundai Entrant was at an accident. Apparently along side it curtain airbag around the driver’s side quickly inflated (like it’s designed to) but required by using it metallic bracket (which it isn’t).

The end result would be a severe laceration towards the driver’s ear within an automotive reenactment of Holy field-Tyson II.

The Nation’s Highway Traffic Safety Administration looks like it’s considering the big event, but has yet to problem a recall. Hyundai because of its part demands the incident was isolated, which it’s not received reviews of anything similar happening holiday to a motorists.
