BENTLEY WILL RECREATE ITS UNIQUE CREATIONS OF A CENTURY AGO

Bentley steps confident in the bright future, continuing with good right and everyone happy to exploit its glorious past. In the Wake of the success already sold out in a matter of days a series of one hundred cars Continental GT Number 9 Edition, the legendary brand took up the implementation of an even more ambitious and extraordinary project.

However, rather to say that in the future the Bentley is not walking but running at race speeds, as another source of inspiration for artists "court" Atelier Mulliner, breathing new life into vintage classics, the British brand has become famous 4 1/2-Litre Blower Team sir Henry "Tim" Birkin. That is, the most, in fact ,well-known model Bentley, will be re-released in a series of the world's first replicas of racing cars before the war.

A total of four original Team Blower were produced by Birkin's order in the late 1920s. All of them performed on the racetracks of Europe. Most famous of all is the car number 2 team Birkin with license plate UU 5872, participated in the race "24 hours of Le Mans" and played a major role in the victory of the factory team Bentley Speed Six in 1930.

Owned by Bentley Blower Team car from 1929 with the chassis HB 3403 will be the main template for creating 12 replicas – the number of races in which competed four of the original car.  To begin professionals, adept at his job in the process, the recent restoration of the model Corniche 1939, carefully disassemble the original instance into components, and each piece will be cataloged and scanned in 3D. Based on these data create a digital model of the entire vehicle.

Using casting molds and tooling from the 1920s, as well as traditional hand tools along with the latest manufacturing techniques, the experts will produce 12 sets of components, from which Bentley retro car craftsmen will assemble a dozen of the most authentic new Blowers.

The manufacturer promises that this unique series called Bentley Blower Continuation will combine the experience of several generations of skilled craftsmen and the most modern digital technologies. The mechanics, design and atmosphere of the exclusive replicars will be as close as possible to the originals with minor imperceptible changes, the need for which is dictated by modern safety standards.

Series Continuation were announced at the competition of elegance Salon Privé Concours d'elegance Chairman of the Board and head of Bentley Motors Adrian Hallmarked, who explained: "In honor of the 100th anniversary of Bentley we decided to create something truly exceptional, combining in one car, our legendary past with the modern digital technology. The four racing Team Blowers are the most valuable Bentleys in the world, and we know that many will want to own a replicar that, unlike the expensive original, can be operated while enjoying its design, luxury and handling. The twelve new Blower cars not only celebrate our past, but are also designed to celebrate the outstanding craftsmanship of Mulliner's specialists."

Price replica Bentley Team Blower even tentatively has not yet been announced.
