CADILLAC WILL SOON SHIP ITS COMPACT CROSSOVER TO EUROPE – AND RUSSIA

For the US market Cadillac XT4 was announced in 2018, and only now the company finally decided to start its sales in the Old world market. At the same time, especially for Europe, the crossover will be equipped with a new motor – and, it seems, it will be the only one.

Cadillac XT4 equipped with the latest 2-liter turbo engine – but diesel! The unit develops 170 HP and 380 Nm of torque and is paired with a 9-band automatic and an optional all-wheel drive system. At the same time in the US crossover also has a gasoline engine, which at the same volume provides 240 HP and 350 Nm of torque, but its appearance in Europe has not yet been reported. It is possible that the XT4 will be sold on this side of the ocean only with a "heavy fuel" engine.

Europeans at first promised two versions of the complete set Launch Edition. Available in the included front wheel drive, 18-inch wheels, heated seats and steering wheel, multimedia system with navigation, the possibility of opening the fifth door "without hands", and also the complex of active safety assistants, which includes Parking aid, warning system transport rear hold function in the lane recognition system of road signs and the like.

The second set – Launch Edition Sport-has an external decor with black accents, 20-inch wheels, sports steering, pedals and suspension and some additions to the on-Board electronics.
