AMG division is gradually abandoning the multi-cylinder engines in the construction of their "lighters": in this line of sedans with V12 will no longer be. The transition to more compact engines celebrated the show Mercedes-AMG S65 Final Edition.
A distinctive feature of the unique sedans will be the exterior finish. For the Mercedes-AMG S65 Final Edition, there is only one body color – black with bronze accents, and only one color of the 20-inch wheels – bronze. Some amount of chrome on the body is still preserved, but it has become much less: even the ends of the exhaust system are covered with black gloss.
The interior is dominated by the same color scheme. Black carbon lining combined with black leather nappa and bronze, again, threads stitching. In addition, in the cabin of the exclusive super sedan will be "status" plate with the serial number of the car in the party, and the engine cover under the hood will change color from silver to black.
V12 from AMG, which is equipped with a sedan, develops 630 HP and 1,000 Nm of torque. This is enough to accelerate the S-class to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Interestingly, especially for the Final Edition, the speed limiter was moved from the standard 250 to the mark of 300 km/h.
In the equipment of the "farewell" of the sedan, and perhaps the most rich among the S-classes will include panoramic Windows that can change transparency, split rear seats, console for passengers with advanced features and is specially designed for chetyrehdverki case – black with bronze logo of the series. Only 130 sedans will be built in the Final Edition.
In the future, AMG plans to give way to 12-cylinder engines turbocharged V8, which will provide a comparable return through the use of hybrid circuits. Other Mercedes-Benz will remain faithful to the large-volume motors: for example, nobody is going to deny V12 "Mercedes" performed by Maybach.
