For some time Skoda does not build full-fledged "charged" modifications of compact models: the abbreviation RS was replaced by the words Monte Carlo, also directly related to the rally, but implying, in fact, only the external and internal decor.
Modification of Monte Carlo for the latest hatch Scala was announced by the Czechs on the eve, and the creation of similar versions for crossover passed essentially the same recipe. Body Kamiq received a set of elements decorated black color – grille, door sills and side mirrors, roof rails, and logos of brands and models on the trunk lid.
Default Kamiq Monte Carlo "shoes" 17-inch wheels original design (optionally available 18-inch), the standard equipment includes full-led optics. In the interior, black accents changed to red, which is designed to emphasize the" sporty " character of the crossover. However, there are more significant signs of style-steering wheel with perforated leather trim, sports seats with integrated headrests and special finishing materials.
The performance of Monte Carlo will be offered in Europe for all engines available for the Skoda Kamiq. The debut is scheduled for the exhibition in Frankfurt, the beginning of sales – in the fourth quarter of this year.
As for the sales Kamiq, as far as we know, the decision on this matter is still pending. While the Russian office of the brand is busy with the localization of Assembly in Nizhny Novgorod other Skoda models – the larger SUV Karoq. Production of this model starts, presumably before the end of the year, and then, perhaps, clearer and fate Kamiq.
